Hello, my name is Allie.  I am a two year old, black and chocolate lab, with quite the story to tell.  I somehow got loose from my home and was gone for two days.  When I finally found my way back, I had a broken leg and a puncture wound.  I am not sure how it happened, but it wasnt pleasant.  My family could not afford my medical bills, so I now have an AAU foster mom, who is trying to find the best family for me to protect and love.  My foster mom took me to the vet for my needed surgery and I am now recuperating.  My recovery time will be 8 weeks, which can be done with my new family.
 
Now, I would like to tell you about myself.  I am the perfect family dog and I only weigh 50 pounds.  I am wonderful with dogs, cats and kids too!  I am very loving, sweet and submissive (and I am not bragging).  I can't wait to meet my new family, so get your applications in ASAP!
