Grant (in need of Foster Home)'s story
Grant is one happy, loving dog. In his previous life, his owner must not have taken good care of him as he is now having to go through heartworm treatment. He is doing well halfway through his treatment, but that is why he is looking for a caring foster home instead of a forever home right now as he is still going through heartworm treatment.
Grant is a very loving dog, and he is happiest basking in the love and attention of his people. He also loves kids....however, he still has some manners to learn, as he is prone to jumping up on people to give hugs, so small children might not be a good idea until he learns better manners.
We would love to get Grant out of boarding, as that is not a place for him to recover from heartworm treatment, but we are short on foster homes. If you would like to learn more about fostering Grant, please email us at info@youluckydogrescue.org.
Grant is a lab mix, with an estimated DOB of 12/2016. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. He weighs 62 pounds, and is currently undergoing heartworm treatment.
For more information on our adoption process, please visit our website at and read our Adoption FAQ's and Before You Adopt documents. In addition you can complete an online adoption application from our website. You can also email info@youluckydogrescue.org for additional details.
Our adoption fee is $300 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue. We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
