This is a lady's 14KT yellow gold Emerald and Diamond Ring, Ballerina Style mounting, prong set with a center square cut emerald- The emerald is surrounded by ten tapered baguette-cut diamonds, and ten full cut round diamonds. The square cut emerald measures 5.4x5.78MM, and weighs approx .55Ct. The emerald stone exhibits a medium-light green color with some yellow overtones and numerous natural inclusions visible without magnification. The ten tapered baguette cut diamonds have a total weight of approx .80Ct. average GIA color grade H/I with VS1 clarity. The ten full cut round diamonds have a total weight of approx. .65Ct. average GIA color H/I clarity and SI-1 clarity grade. The weight of the ring is 4.9 grams.The appraisal is from 1997 and has the replacement value of $3200.00 ( I will include this with the sale). A jeweler within the last week said the approx replacement cost today would be around $4500.00This is from an estate, and is a beautiful ring. It is a size 6 1/4 and comes with a ring box.
